When you advertise with Curtin Enterprises Gaming Network you will have access to up-to-the-minute statistics on all your ads. Our system will break down the statistics for each banner you have purchased and show you how many impressions it has had, how many clicks it received, the click-through ratio, as well as an approximate date of completion. These statistics are updated instantaneously, so you will always have current numbers.
Rates
Advertising is sold on Curtin Enterprises Gaming Network on a CPC (cost-per-click) basis. This means that you pay only for users who actually click on your ad and visit your site. Additionally, we have an IP tracking system so that if the same user clicks on your ad twice in a 24 hour period you will not be double-charged. The cost per click is the same for all banner sizes - 10 cents per click. You are welcome to purchase a quantity of clicks and spread it across a few different banners, however any single banner may not have less than 200 clicks initially.
Site Sponsorships
From time to time we have openings in our two sponsorship slots - the 300x60 spot in the header on all our pages and the 750x300 spot on the vote success page. Ads in these spots may read "Curtin Enterprises Gaming Network is brought to you by ______". These spots can be purchased at a flat monthly rate. Please email webmaster@cegn.netfor more information.
Category Specific Ads
In each of the game directory categories there is a feature game banner, of size 468x60. Each of these ads is available for $30 per month, and will be shown only in the requested directory category.
Methods of Payment
The preferred method of payment to Curtin Enterprises Gaming Network is PayPal. We find this to be the most convenient way to pay for ads, and it allows us to post your ad on the site as quickly as possible. Our PayPal email is paypal@curtin-enterprises.com. If you do not yet have a PayPal account, you may sign up here.
Minimum Buy
Because we want our advertising to be feasible for games of all sizes, we have set our minimum advertising buy at $50.00 USD.
How to Proceed
So you've decided to advertise with Curtin Enterprises Gaming Network - congratulations on your wise decision. Here are the steps you will need to take before your ad goes live:
- Submit payment (see section above). It is not necessary to contact us until payment is submitted, unless you have any questions, which we would be glad to answer.
- Email webmaster@cegn.net with your banner(s). If you are using multiple banners you will need to specify how many clicks you would like on each. You will also need to provide the URL to which your visitors will be sent.
- Once you've completed the above steps, allow a day or two for the ad to be put up on the site. At that time we will get back to you with your stats login and any other important information.
